Dana Motors Inc is owned and operated by third generation family member D.K. The Kenmonth family got its start in 1932 during the Great Depression as Piston Supply Company, a wagon jobber that supplied pistons and ring sets to the garage engine rebuilding industry. For over 80 years Dana and its affiliated companies Piston Supply, Motor Warehouse and Kenmonth Engine Company have supplied parts, engines, machine work and equipment toindustry in California and all over the United States. Some of our high lights include, advisers/designers to General George S. Paton’s Seventh Army Jeep engine rebuilding facility, originators of the Engine Kit concept, patented designers of the Storm Vulcanmanufactured Jet Clean Tank that revolutionized engine parts cleaning, founding member of the Western Engine Rebuilding Association (WERA ), active member in PERA and AERA rebuilding associations, operators of state of the art plant production facilities that rebuilt over 900 engines and 1500 crankshafts per month,and now suppliers of New Old Stock and hard to find engine parts to the restoration market.
